Mission

In 2019, we had the idea as students to build a rain garden and cistern on Kent-Meridian High School grounds. We wrote and were awarded grants totaling $35,000 to get started and complete our project.

Since then, this project has been about the accessibility of green space, love for the environment, building something as a school, teaching, and fostering resiliency.

Where we are today

We use our rain garden and cistern as a learning tool to allow future or current teachers and students at KM to learn from and think about projects that could come from this resource.
